Having a child and having a child in your life are two very different things at first glance (usually separated by the huge act that is childbirth), but if you look closely you will know that both cause a big perspective change. You can't help it, you usually can't stop it, it just happens.
I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by children in almost every part of my week, from coaching through home to church on Sunday. But two of these children are especially fantastic and wonderful because I get to call them my sisters. My heart beats for children and seeing them receive the love they deserve because they love so unconditionally. They have such incredible faith in near-impossible things and we can all learn a lot from their positive perspective. Don't you think?
So this one is dedicated to the beautiful children in my life, especially the two girls I get to call younger sisters

The hope of tomorrow
they smile at the slightest sunshine
and wave back
regardless of your face
how wonderful this world could be
if we just had a trace
of their bright eyes
ready to see the world
in the day after this one
where some habits need goodbyes
they believe unwaveringly
in the truth behind the mask
even when we give them
all the reason not to
why do we let that pass
they see rainbows
when all we see are storms
they choose to look for the seeds
in new things not yet born
they smile with true joy
and wave back
regardless of your face
they will tend the garden
when we’re all gone and grey
they will keep looking for the sunshine
even on the darkest day
because they are the hope
of tomorrow
and the children on today
Do you have a child in your life that you haven't been giving credit for the wonderful things they bring into your world? Time to make them feel wanted again. Time to love them, as much as they unconditionally love you
